Rene Russo, born in Burbank, California on the 2nd of September 1970, to Shirley Balocca Barmaid/factory worker and Nino Russo. The mechanic father of Rene left her at the age of Rene had turned two. Her mother was the sole caregiver for Rene. Her father had Italian origins and her mom was Italian with German-English Irish heritage. In junior high school Rene suffered from Scoliosis, and was required to wear a full-torso brace. Jolly Green Giant was her nickname among her peers because of her height. She enrolled in Burroughs High School along with her classmate Ron Howard and even though her brace had been removed she remained the lonesome.
