Anita Briem is an Icelandic actress from Iceland . Anita Briem, an Icelandic performer. The actress is most famous for portraying Jane Seymour, the young female who becomes the third queen of Henry VIII on the television show The Tudors. Briem began her professional career acting as an actress in the National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. When she was in her home country Iceland she appeared on the television, radio, and other shows as an early actor. Briem moved in London at the age of sixteen and was a part of a play production that was staged at The New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem, then 19, was admitted to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama, and was awarded the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. The Cherry Garden (Anton Chekhov) as well as Bernarda Alba's house by Federico Garcia Lorca were among the plays he took part in while at RADA.
