Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself in the world of the television. In the year 1976, De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved soon to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period prior to moving in Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. Even with the minor parts, she realized acting as her true love. After moving to New York, in 2001 she was offered her first part as a performer on All My Children. There were minor roles in JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004, her debut major show was The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of the best TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared 85 times. The character later re-entered the short-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for several awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as a number of ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time after. She was Marisol Delko and wife to the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most current TV work was in NBC's dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger twin brother Cory is 10 years younger than her. The family she was raised in was strict and religious parents. Milano started her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her along to a stage audition. The audition was attended by four girls out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and in the American debut of Jane Eyre.
